Cependant, une pure concurrence par les prix ne permet pas r\u00e9ellement de s\u00e9curiser un avantage sur le march\u00e9, incitant ainsi les fabricants de MCU \u00e0 repenser leurs strat\u00e9gies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c MCU+ \u201d est d\u00e9sormais la principale strat\u00e9gie de diff\u00e9renciation. Comme son nom l\u2019indique, elle consiste \u00e0 \u00e9tendre les capacit\u00e9s des MCU pour inclure l\u2019IA, la d\u00e9tection, la communication, le chiffrement et d\u2019autres fonctions, cr\u00e9ant ainsi une solution plus compl\u00e8te et renfor\u00e7ant la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 des produits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Certains fabricants int\u00e8grent les MCU dans un syst\u00e8me sur puce (SoC), tandis que d\u2019autres les coordonnent avec d\u2019autres produits. Essentiellement, tout peut \u00eatre ajout\u00e9 apr\u00e8s le signe \u201c + \u201d, en fonction de la compr\u00e9hension du fabricant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors que la concurrence sur le march\u00e9 des MCU s\u2019intensifie, le MCU+ devient de plus en plus la norme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-01-mcu-ai\">01. Plusieurs solutions sont disponibles, notamment celles li\u00e9es aux algorithmes et au mat\u00e9riel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les mod\u00e8les ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s sur les MCU diff\u00e8rent de ceux sur les GPU, utilisant g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement TinyML. TinyML est un sous-ensemble de l\u2019apprentissage automatique avec une consommation d\u2019\u00e9nergie de l\u2019ordre du milliwatt. Les charges de travail TinyML sont tr\u00e8s simples, n\u00e9cessitant beaucoup moins de m\u00e9moire et de puissance de traitement que l\u2019IA avanc\u00e9e comme la reconnaissance faciale, sacrifiant souvent la qualit\u00e9 du traitement d\u2019image pour une consommation d\u2019\u00e9nergie plus faible. G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, les algorithmes \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle peuvent \u00eatre g\u00e9r\u00e9s par le DSP ou l\u2019unit\u00e9 \u00e0 virgule flottante (FPU) du MCU sans n\u00e9cessiter beaucoup d\u2019optimisation en termes d\u2019efficacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour ex\u00e9cuter TinyML, Arm a introduit des c\u0153urs de processeur sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7us pour cette t\u00e2che, comme l\u2019Arm Cortex-M55, qui utilise la technologie Helium d\u2019Arm pour effectuer des op\u00e9rations arithm\u00e9tiques en parall\u00e8le, r\u00e9alisant des op\u00e9rations de type GPU \u00e0 plus petite \u00e9chelle. Par exemple, le microNPU Ethos-U d\u2019Arm am\u00e9liore consid\u00e9rablement les performances des c\u0153urs Cortex-M, servant d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur d\u2019IA\/ML pour les appareils IoT embarqu\u00e9s, permettant aux calculs d\u2019IA\/ML de s\u2019ex\u00e9cuter directement sur cette nouvelle architecture microNPU, bien plus efficacement que sur les MCU Cortex-M.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les produits MCU dot\u00e9s d\u2019IA ont explos\u00e9 au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NXP a \u00e9t\u00e9 un des premiers \u00e0 adopter les NPU dans les MCU, lan\u00e7ant la s\u00e9rie de microcontr\u00f4leurs MCX N en 2022. Cette plateforme combine les atouts des MCU polyvalents LPC et Kinetis avec un NPU mat\u00e9riel d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par NXP pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les calculs d\u2019IA en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie. Le NPU agit comme un coprocesseur de calcul d\u2019IA pour le CPU avec des canaux de calcul d\u00e9di\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ST a \u00e9galement cibl\u00e9 les NPU, lan\u00e7ant en 2022 le premier MCU polyvalent avec une unit\u00e9 de traitement mat\u00e9riel NPU int\u00e9gr\u00e9e, le STM32N6, avec une puissance de calcul de 0,6 TOPS. Il int\u00e8gre \u00e9galement de nouvelles IP et p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques vid\u00e9o, tels que des cam\u00e9ras MIPI CSI, des processeurs de signal d\u2019image (ISP) pour la vision industrielle, des encodeurs vid\u00e9o H.264 et des contr\u00f4leurs Gigabit Ethernet prenant en charge les points d\u2019extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les derniers produits d\u2019Infineon prennent en charge le jeu d\u2019instructions Arm Helium DSP et le NPU Arm Ethos-U55. La nouvelle s\u00e9rie de MCU PSoC Edge comprend les E81, E83 et E84, dot\u00e9s de Helium et du NPU, ainsi que de l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur mat\u00e9riel ultra-basse consommation NNLite d\u2019Infineon pour l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration des r\u00e9seaux de neurones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Renesas atteint des performances gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des c\u0153urs puissants. Sa nouvelle s\u00e9rie de MCU RA8 utilise le c\u0153ur Arm Cortex-M85 bas\u00e9 sur l\u2019architecture Arm v8.1M avec un pipeline superscalaire \u00e0 7 \u00e9tages, offrant une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration suppl\u00e9mentaire pour les t\u00e2ches de calcul intensif de r\u00e9seaux de neurones ou de traitement du signal. Le Cortex-M85, \u00e9quip\u00e9 de Helium (Arm M-Profile Vector Extension), est le c\u0153ur Cortex-M le plus performant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ADI se concentre sur l\u2019IA en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie depuis 2020, int\u00e9grant directement des acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateurs CNN dans les MCU. Par exemple, son MCU IA ultra-basse consommation MAX78000, lanc\u00e9 en 2023, dispose d\u2019un CNN mat\u00e9riel int\u00e9gr\u00e9, de deux microc\u0153urs, de m\u00e9moire, de SIMO et de multiples interfaces de communication, permettant une inf\u00e9rence IA \u00e0 des niveaux d\u2019\u00e9nergie tr\u00e8s faibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-02-mcu-analog\">02. MCU+Analogique<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019int\u00e9gration de capacit\u00e9s de cha\u00eene de signaux analogiques dans les MCU n\u2019est pas nouvelle, mais a commenc\u00e9 t\u00f4t dans le domaine du contr\u00f4le moteur, avec des MCU int\u00e9grant des modules de pilotage il y a plus de dix ans. De solides performances analogiques sont un facteur cl\u00e9 dans l\u2019\u00e9valuation des MCU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les fabricants int\u00e8grent d\u00e9sormais davantage de capacit\u00e9s analogiques dans les MCU, certains d\u00e9veloppant des solutions enti\u00e8rement int\u00e9gr\u00e9es, combinant plus de mat\u00e9riel et d\u2019algorithmes pour une solution cl\u00e9 en main.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TI adh\u00e8re depuis longtemps aux principes de \u201c MCU+analogique \u201d et \u201c MCU+capteur \u201d, introduisant des produits comme le PGA900 avec un ADC 24 bits et un c\u0153ur Cortex-M0 il y a plus de dix ans. R\u00e9cemment, le MCU M0+ MSPM0 inclut des p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques analogiques caract\u00e9ristiques de TI, tels qu\u2019un ADC 12 bits, deux amplificateurs op\u00e9rationnels \u00e0 d\u00e9rive nulle et sans distorsion de passage par z\u00e9ro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ST, avec plus de 20 ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience dans le contr\u00f4le moteur industriel, propose la s\u00e9rie STM32C0, rempla\u00e7ant les MCU 8 bits\/16 bits, et la s\u00e9rie d\u2019entr\u00e9e de gamme STM32G0 avec des ADC 12 bits, DAC et comparateurs int\u00e9gr\u00e9s. La s\u00e9rie STM32G4 int\u00e8gre plusieurs ADC 12 bits, DAC, comparateurs haute vitesse et amplificateurs op\u00e9rationnels programmables, con\u00e7ue pour le contr\u00f4le moteur avanc\u00e9. La s\u00e9rie haute performance STM32H5 offre des fonctionnalit\u00e9s de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9volutives pour tous les besoins applicatifs, tandis que la s\u00e9rie haut de gamme STM32H7 a obtenu le meilleur score de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour les microcontr\u00f4leurs bas\u00e9s sur Cortex-M, avec un score CoreMark de 3224.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le nouveau MCU de contr\u00f4le moteur de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de NXP, le S32K396, forme une solution de contr\u00f4leur moteur de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration avec des composants centraux avanc\u00e9s (par exemple, SBC, Driver).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Renesas a introduit le MCU RX23E-B en novembre 2023, destin\u00e9 aux syst\u00e8mes de capteurs industriels haut de gamme. Ce nouveau MCU int\u00e8gre un convertisseur A\/N Delta-Sigma 24 bits avec une vitesse de conversion de 125 kSPS, 8 fois plus rapide que le produit RX23E-A existant, int\u00e9grant l\u2019AFE et le MCU dans une seule puce, r\u00e9duisant ainsi la taille du syst\u00e8me et le nombre de composants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les fabricants chinois ont leur propre interpr\u00e9tation du MCU+analogique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chipsea Technology, s\u2019appuyant sur plus de 20 ans d\u2019expertise dans la plateforme double \u201c cha\u00eene de signaux analogiques + MCU \u201d, se concentre sur des domaines cl\u00e9s comme l\u2019ADAS, le ch\u00e2ssis et l\u2019habitacle. Par exemple, le CS32F036Q est un MCU de qualit\u00e9 automobile pour les applications de contr\u00f4le de carrosserie, certifi\u00e9 AEC-Q100, offrant une solution compl\u00e8te incluant MCU, ADC et circuit frontal analogique (AFE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YuanNeng Core se concentre sur les conceptions int\u00e9gr\u00e9es de MCU+Driver+MOSFET, ciblant les syst\u00e8mes d\u2019alimentation intelligents. Son produit phare enti\u00e8rement int\u00e9gr\u00e9, le MYi0002V0405, combine MCU, Driver et MOSFET, r\u00e9duisant la surface de la carte d\u2019au moins 50 %, r\u00e9solvant des probl\u00e8mes tels que le volume, le placement et la dissipation thermique. Il est largement utilis\u00e9 dans les ventilateurs, les petites pompes \u00e0 eau et les syst\u00e8mes de gestion thermique automobile. MCU+D\u00e9tection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Si les MCU sont le cerveau des produits \u00e9lectroniques, les capteurs en sont les sens. L\u2019int\u00e9gration des deux est de plus en plus soulign\u00e9e par les fabricants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les capteurs discut\u00e9s ici ne sont pas les capteurs de temp\u00e9rature couramment int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans les MCU (pour surveiller la temp\u00e9rature et la sant\u00e9 de la puce MCU elle-m\u00eame), mais des capteurs int\u00e9gr\u00e9s pour des applications sp\u00e9cifiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis environ 2014, la combinaison \u201c MCU+capteurs \u201d est devenue courante. Cependant, la plupart des solutions fournies par les fabricants s\u00e9parent les MCU et les capteurs car \u201c MCU+capteurs \u201d n\u2019est pas encore dominant dans les domaines du SoC et du SiP. Actuellement, la s\u00e9paration des MCU et des capteurs offre plus de flexibilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019approche MCU+ de SICMicro consiste \u00e0 int\u00e9grer des capteurs capacitifs dans les MCU pour des applications sp\u00e9cifiques comme le tactile, l\u2019\u00e9clairage automobile, les moteurs et la charge sans fil.
